The exhibition brings together ten emerging international artists, each exploring the idea of refuge in their own visual language. Featuring works by Martha Zmpounou (UK), Yool Kim (KR), Erin Bird (UK), Emma Larsson (SE), and more.

Ekin Su Koç
Ekin Su Koç was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1986. She holds a BFA from Mimar Sinan Fine Art University, an MA in painting from the University of Seville and an MFA from Işık University. Her works derive from nature and human psychology, with symbolic elements as old ancient maps, daily magazines, different hair images, laces, flowers and animals, with all fragmented parts becoming a body. She uses traditional motifs and mass culture images from modern magazines to refer to multicultural contrasts and coexistence which make up life in order to narrate the story of travelling through time and land.

MIA PENSA - Here For a While Preview November 7th 2025
We’re pleased to present Here For a While - the first European solo exhibition by Melbourne-based artist Mia Pensa (b. 2002).
Pensa’s work depicts striking representations of animals in tropical and imagined environments, drawing influence from archives of painting, textiles, ceramics, and sculpture from a variety of cultures. Her final compositions are built up through layered ink backdrops, textured surfaces of sand and cured paint, and bold applications of acrylic and oil.
In her own words, here for awhile is “an ardent expression of the lessons relearned during my creative process.” Drawn to warm ecosystems and their life forms, Pensa reflects on her habitual working methods, the parallels between her own instincts and those of the animals she paints, and the ongoing need to care for her creative energy, persevere, and adapt.
