THE SHRINE by ARMANDO MARIÑO
 
Experience the striking art of Armando Mariño at his fourth solo show at Galleri Christoffer Egelund! Mariño's imposing canvases are filled with meaning expressed with great skill. Armando Mariño paints to spark a conversation about equality, the rights of women, Black people, and the importance of the belief in our shared humanity. Numerous references to art history and the history of humanity, including the art of Edvard Munch and the art of ancient Greece, enrich his oeuvre.

Michael á Grømma (b. in Denmark, 1983) conveys the comfort of home with his nostalgic interior paintings. Plants, cozy nooks, quilted carpets and filled book cases are painted in painstaiking detail - you can look at his paintings many times and still discover new things and references.

Into Something by Mads Rafte Hein
 
 

Mads Rafte Hein (b. in Denmark, 1977) depicts fascinating and flamboyant interiors using his signature confident style and fresh pastel color palette. His two newest lithographs, Morning and Into Something were created at the renowned Atelier Clot, the oldest lithograhic workshop in Paris, where famous artists like Cézanne, Rodin and Degas had their lithographs printed in the late 19th and early 20th century.
