INTRODUCING RICARDO CHERBELUKA

Ricardo Cherbeluka, a renowned artist from São Paulo, finds inspiration in the urban universe. His recent works capture the beauty of São Paulo's streets, cars, and graffiti, renewing our perception of space. With a refined technique honed through experience and practice, Cherbeluka combines painted elements with his artistic vision. His paintings evoke visual and aesthetic impact, addressing social and cultural issues. In his exploration of the city's ludic nature, the concrete jungle transforms into a romantic and serene landscape. From streets and tunnels to traffic and graffiti, Cherbeluka's artistic gaze encompasses every detail. Each painting is a testament to his visual intelligence, offering a fresh perspective on the world. With exhibitions worldwide, Cherbeluka continues to confront and solve aesthetic and social challenges through his art.

Born in 1978 in São Paulo, Cherbeluka is an artist who currently operates from his studio in Cotia. He holds a degree in Arts from Colégio Claretiano, graduated in Plastic Arts from Faculdade Paulista, and has participated in numerous courses and extracurricular workshops both in Brazil and abroad. His artistic representation includes prestigious galleries such as Galeria André, Espaço Paulista de Arte, and others. Cherbeluka's talent has garnered recognition in international salons, and his works can be found in the collections of prominent institutions like the Pedro Bortolosso Cultural Center (Secretaria de Cultura do Município de Osasco/SP) and the Casa de América Museum in Madrid, Spain. Cherbeluka has shared his knowledge as an instructor, teaching Arts at the Paulista Academy of Arts and Artistic Education at the Osasco Technological Institute Foundation.

You can see his incredible paintings among other great artworks at SUMMERTIME'23 THE ANNUAL GROUP SHOW at Bredgade 75. The exhibition can be seen until August 18th, 2023. Please note that the gallery will be closed for summer holidays between July 16 - Aug. 2.
